The stockings story
More than 53% of men consider stockings to be the sexiest element of the women's clothes. And it is not occasionally because stockings that accentuate the beauty of the woman's leg won't leave any man indifferent. And nowadays it is hard to imagine the modern woman without stockings.
Stockings come from the socks that were first found in the tombs of the 5th century AC. The found socks were knitted, but after that the art of knitting was lost and people started to make stockings using the fabric made of the thin leather.
During medieval times there were still no stockings as the separate part of the clothing. During the epoch of Spanish fashion people worn multicoloured and coloured stockings. But it is hard to call stockings the ancestors of the modern stockings that were the lines of fabric that covered the legs from feet to the waist. And only in 16th century the general spread was conquered by the stocking hand-made.
In the middle of 19th century women started to wear the white stockings and when the skirts were making shorter people started to pay particular attention to stockings decorating them and the shoes. The stocking made of the thin and delicate fabric were especially popular at that time.
Nowadays people wear stockings not only as the way to warm the legs during the winter time but also as the sexy element to seduce people.
